Gian Piero Gasperini has been officially named as the Serie A coach of the month for November after laying down a perfect record in both the league and Champions League over the last few weeks.

The coach of the month for November was decided upon based on results from matchdays 11 to 14. During that period, Atalanta recorded a 3-0 win away against league leaders Napoli, a 2-1 win against Udinese, a 3-1 win away against Parma and a 2-0 win against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, which technically took place on December 2.
Though European results are not factored in to Serie A coach of the month award, Atalanta also maintained a 100% win record in the Champions League in November, defeating Stuttgart 2-1 and Young Boys 6-1, both away from home.
Atalanta are currently second in Serie A, just one point off Napoi at the top, although Inter are three points behind La Dea with a game in hand.
Gasperini will be presented with his trophy at the beginning of Atalanta’s upcoming Serie A match at home against Empoi later in December.
