Rome Flynn crowned MVP of NBA All-Star Celebrity Game 2025, leads Team Bonds to victory Emergency USA


Rome Flynn walked away with the top honours after helping to lift Team Bonds to victory at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game 2025 in Oakland Arena on Friday (14 February) night.

Flynn, a television actor, had an MVP-worthy night: scoring 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists to ensure his team, coached by baseball legend Barry Bonds, defeated Team Jerry Rice, 66-55.

WNBA star Rickea Jackson chipped in with 16 points for the winning side.

Pro football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens impressed for Team Rich, netting 18 points, while Paris 2024 Olympic silver medallist Shelby McEwen put his high jump skills to work, adding 14 points.

The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game kicked off a weekend of basketball celebrations in the Bay Area with the three days of bumper hoops action set to reach its crescendo with NBA All-Star Game 2025 on Sunday night.
