(Gray News) – Christian recording artist Lauren Daigle and jazz virtuoso Trombone Shorty joined forces for a rendition of “America the Beautiful” ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl.
Daigle, and Shorty, both Louisiana natives, brought a unique collaboration to the pregame show.
Daigle is a multi-platinum artist recognized for her Christian pop hits, while Shorty has captivated audiences worldwide with his New Orleans-style jazz.
This was one of many performances of the night.
Jon Batiste kickstarted the Super Bowl with an innovative performance of the national anthem, while Ledisi performed “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
Kendrick Lamar will play the halftime show along with SZA.
