LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. — A new wildfire has started in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles County.
The Kenneth Fire sparked along the 24000 block of West Victory Boulevard Thursday afternoon. According to Los Angeles Fire Department, the fire is burning toward the south. It’s burned about 1,000 acres. It is 35% contained.
Evacuations
The LAFD mandatory evacuation order for the Kenneth Fire is DOWNGRADED to an Evacuation Warning. The LAFD Evacuation Warning is LIFTED.

Wildfire Preps
If you live in a wildfire-prone zone, Cal Fire suggests creating a defensible space around your home. Defensible space is an area around a building in which vegetation and other debris are completely cleared. At least 100 feet is recommended.
