College football bowl games explained Emergency USA


GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Not only is the College Football Playoff changing this year with 12-teams making the cut, but also the bowl game schedule. This year, there are 47 total bowl games. That also includes the national championship game on Jan. 20th, the two CFP semifinal games and four CFP quarterfinal games. Below is the full list of bowl games and dates for this college football season with teams generally needing six wins to become eligible for a bowl game.
