Written and directed by Indian filmmaker Sukumar, the Pushpa film series stars Telugu A-lister Allu Arjun as Pushpa himself, a smuggler-slash-action-hero who, in the first movie, takes down bad guys and gets the girl (played by Rashmika Mandanna). We have a feeling there will be even more butt-kicking in this sequel.
Telugu films, aka Tollywood, is a fast-growing market in India and North America alike. The North American distribution rights for Pushpa 2: The Rule were reportedly purchased for around $7.4 million dollars, which would be the biggest deal ever for the North American rights for a Telugu-language film.

For now, Pushpa 2: The Rule will only be available to watch in a movie theater, when it opens in select theaters in worldwide on Thursday, December 5. You can find a showing near you via Fandango. Pushpa 2: The Rule is not yet available to watch online or on streaming.
Is Pushpa 2: The Rule streaming on Netflix or Prime Video?
Pushpa 2: The Rule is not streaming on Netflix or Prime Video right now. While it’s possible Pushpa 2: The Rule may stream on Netflix someday, it won’t be until after the theatrical run and digital release of the movie. Pushpa 2: The Rule is not a Netflix original—it’s an Indian, Telugu-language film being distributed in North America by Prathyangira Cinemas and AA Creations.
You will be able to purchase Pushpa 2: The Rule on Prime Video eventually, when the movie becomes available to buy and rent on digital. We don’t know when, if ever, Pushpa 2: The Rule will stream free on Amazon Prime. That said, we can guess. In the case of the first movie, Pushpa: The Rise, Amazon bought the digital rights to the film and began streaming on Prime on January 7, 2022, about three weeks after the film opened in theaters. If Pushpa 2: The Rule follows a similar release pattern, you might see it streaming on Amazon Prime in about three weeks time, around the end of December 2024 or early January 2025.
But this is all speculation. Right now, the movie is not on Netflix or Amazon Prime. If you want to watch the movie right away, you’ll have to see it in a movie theater.
