PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It’s time to shop local and support your favorite businesses across the state! Hundreds of businesses will be participating in Small Business Saturday this year, and now’s the time to get started on your holiday shopping!

Uptown Farmer’s Market

It’s a central Phoenix favorite! Guests can enjoy local produce, handmade food and handcrafted goods at the Uptown Farmer’s Market. The market will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Black Friday, Small Business Saturday Block Party

Check out 100 small businesses at the 7th Annual Black Friday, Small Business Saturday Buy Local Block Party in downtown Phoenix! Guests can enjoy music, food trucks and a bounce house. The event runs from 12 to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Location: 610 E. Roosevelt Street, Phoenix

Black-Owned Business Fest

Head south of the Valley to check out Tucson’s own Black-owned business festival! The event will feature activities, live music, art, dance, vendors, food trucks and information about the Black community in Arizona. In collaboration with Phoenix and surrounding cities, BOB Fest is the largest Black business festival in the state, according to Local First Arizona. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Phoenix Flea

Phoenix Flea will host its 11th annual Small Business Market in downtown Phoenix. Customers can shop small and support over 130 small businesses and food trucks, all gathered in Heritage Square & Science Park. Make sure to get there early because a whopping 6,000 people are expected to attend! The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cost: $5 cash admission is required. There are no ATMs at the park.

Small Biz Saturday Holiday Market

Downtown Phoenix wine bar GenuWine is hosting a holiday market from 12 to 3 p.m. Guests can check out unique gifts and handcrafted items.

Small Business Saturday Morning Market

Spread love and shop at some local favorites at the Small Business Saturday Morning Market in central Phoenix! Guests can visit the build your own bouquet bar, where you craft your own hand-wrapped bouquet, or make friendship bracelets with your best friends. The event will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Indoor Holiday Market

Over 200 local vendors will fill the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa this weekend! Kids and families can enjoy live music, face painting, caricature artists, bounce houses, photo booths, food trucks and more! The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Location – 6321 S. Ellsworth Road, Mesa, AZ

Cost $5 entry fee and $5 parking fee required.

Shop Scottsdale Saturday

Head to Old Town Scottsdale to get some goodies at local shops and boutiques! Old Town is home to a unique small business community with dozens of boutiques, galleries, and retailers — all within walking distance.

Customers who purchase from any local business can show their receipt and receive a free tote bag. There will also be a complimentary gift-wrapping station. The event will run from 1 to 3 p.m.

Visit OldTownScottsdaleAZ.com/Shopping for a list of local boutiques, shops and art galleries. Don’t forget to check out the city’s month long holiday celebration, Scottsdazzle, where our very own Jaime Cerreta will be emceeing the tree lighting on Saturday at 7:55 p.m.!

Gilbert Small Business Saturday

Head to the Gilbert Farmer’s Market to support local vendors this weekend! Stock up on fresh produce and check out over 100 food vendors. The farmer’s market runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Melrose Turkey Crawl

Grab your friends and head over to Melrose District for its annual Turkey Crawl! Support local bars in the district such as Thunderbird Lounge, Stacy’s @ Melrose, YUMBAR and Smith’s on 7th.

There will be drink specials at each bar and guests will receive one complimentary shot at each bar!

Cost to participate in the event is $20. You can pick up your wristband on the day of the crawl at Smith’s on 7th. You must wear your wristband during the crawl!

CRAWL SCHEDULE:

  • 12:00 – 1:00 PM: Smith’s on 7th
  • 1:00 – 2:00 PM: Thunderbird Lounge
  • 2:00 – 3:00 PM: YUMBAR
  • 3:00 – 4:00 PM: Stacy’s @ Melrose

Flagstaff Small Business Saturday

Looking to get out of the Valley this weekend? You can support local businesses in downtown Flagstaff! Sleep in, skip the long lines and shop the sales! Guests can grab drinks at Old Barrel Tea, then shop at Flagstaff General Store or Peace Outfitters.
