As Braxton Berrios unexpectedly ended his run this football season due to an ACL injury, his girlfriend Alix Earle is coming through with some sweet support. The Miami Dolphins wide receiver was placed on the injured reserve after suffering a knee injury during the Dolphins vs. Colts game on Sunday, October 20. The next day, Braxton revealed he was “absolutely heartbroken” as he posted a lengthy message on Instagram thanking fans for their support.
“Due to an injury yesterday my season is over, the road ahead is measured in months and not days, but I find comfort in knowing I’ve been here before,” he wrote in part before adding, “There’s pain along the way, but what’s on the other side makes it all worth it.”
He continued, “Initially all I want to do is play victim and question everything, but I know God and I know he makes no mistakes. After the dust settles the choice each day is going to be pretty straightforward—have this be a part of my story or have it be the end of my story.” The NFL player then quoted another superstar athlete, Kobe Bryant, at the end of his message: “Well like Kobe once said, ‘If you see me in a fight with a bear, pray for the bear.’”
Alix supported Braxton in his comments section, alongside other Fins fans. Underneath his heartfelt post, she simply wrote, “I love you ❤️,” before penning a longer note on her Instagram Stories.
“It’s crazy how things can change in a matter of seconds… especially seeing how much hard work you put into the game not only physically but mentally,” she said, praising Braxton’s drive and work ethic. “Day in and day out you inspire me and I have no doubt that you will be back and better in no time. Proud to be by your side and cheer you on. I love you.”
In February 2024, Alix dug deep into her connection with Braxton during her first-ever birth chart reading with Cosmopolitan. Astrologer to the A-listers, Aliza Kelly, revealed that Alix’s compatibility with the NFL player is “really nice” as he’s “inspiring [her] to broaden your horizons and look at things differently—both professionally and personally.”
“He’s very attracted to you, you’re very attracted to him, but the attraction has a lot to do with the way that you strategize on things and come up with ideas. It’s not just a physical attraction—it’s also an attraction to your mind and the way that you take action on things,” Aliza revealed, to which Alix replied, “He always says that!”
