The Big Bang theory explains how the universe was created, and now, appropriately, The Big Bang Theory has created its own universe. The long-running TV series first spawned the prequel spinoff Young Sheldon, and now Young Sheldon has a spinoff titled Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. The series is about Georgie, who is the older brother of Sheldon, and Mandy, his first wife. Montana Jordan and Emily Osment both appeared as the characters on Young Sheldon and will continue playing the roles on the new show.
As made clear by the title, this is the first marriage for Georgie and Mandy. Because Young Sheldon is a prequel, we already know the fate of their relationship from The Big Bang Theory. On that show, Georgie — who is played by Jerry O’Connnell — has been divorced twice. For now, though, viewers will get to see more of Mandy and Georgie’s relationship before things went wrong as they adjust to being parents, figure out their careers, and deal with other issues of young adulthood.
