ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) – According to the U.S Geological Survey, a 5.1 magnitude earthquake was reported near Ackerly.
USGS says the earthquake was about 8.8 km in depth.
The exact location was recorded as 32.398°N 102.044°W.
Another earthquake was recorded two hours earlier in Toyah.
The USGS says the Toyah earthquake was a 2.9.
